Description
The Director of Employee and HR technical services focuses on supporting all technology and service provisioning (SaaS) aspects of Personnel Administration, Organization and Position Management, Payroll where applicable, Compensation Management, Corporate Communications, Social Media and Networking and other Employee centric functions on a Global basis in over 20 countries for this Fortune 500. The Director works closely with business partners and vendors to establish a strategic technology and services plan, identify opportunities to realize business value, incorporate industry technology advances, deliver on project commitments and support day to day operations in an ITO environment.

Experience
-
Partner with business owners to research and incorporate HR industry best practices into company processes as appropriate

Identify opportunities for transformation, develop business case and monitor return on investments
-
Keen awareness of business and technology trends and an ability to spot opportunities to use technology in order to deliver transformational business value

Identify opportunities to improve or expand service coverage, cost or availability of HR, Communications and Collaboration functions by means of internal or external (SaaS) partners
-
Working with the Global HR and Corporate Communications function, envision, develop and maintain end-to-end requirements, process and technical documentation
-
Secure alignment and buy in from stakeholders behind proposed solutions and support the development of business cases to enable innovation
-
Functional scope includes Personnel Administration, Organization and Position Management, North America Payroll, Employee Communication Portal, Performance and Career Management and Recruiting applications, Collaboration, Communications, Social Media Channels and all Employee Centric functions

Support the creation of an employee services roadmap consistent with best practices and develop a technology and services vision to enable the roadmap

Work with peer IT delivery groups to implement the solution as part of larger enterprise IT projects and initiatives

Partner with internal and external development resources as required. Meeting and/or exceeding project goals and deadlines

Support or managing implementation process to include creating the business case, project plan, solution acceptance and overall successful deployment and change management

Position requires 10% international travel

Experience supporting Corporate Communications and Collaboration initiatives

Ability to secure alignment and approach problems both from a business and technical perspective

Minimum of 5 years experience leading SAP Human Resources or similar ERP practices and departments

Experience managing SaaS deployments and support
