Oakland University (Rochester) New Parking Lot & Repair
Request for Bid by Oakland University - Rochester
The scope of work includes construction of a new parking lot and the repair
and/or expansion of six (6) additional parking lots spaced throughout the Oakland
University campus. The project also includes four (4) Add Alternate work areas.
Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan will receive lump sum bid proposals for Lot P-35, Misc Lots and Lot P-61 until 2:00 P.M., April 15, 2010, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Criteria for companies submitting bids/quotes/proposals:
THE BIDDER'S ATTENDANCE AT THE SCHEDULED PREBID SITE VISIT IS A REQUIREMENT FOR SUBMITTING A BID PROPOSAL.
The site visit is scheduled for 3:00 P.M., April 1, 2010. Please meet at the Purchasing Department, located in the Police & Support Services Building. Separate independent site visits will not be arranged.
Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan will receive lump sum bid proposals for Lot P-35, Misc Lots and Lot P-61 until 2:00 P.M., April 15, 2010, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bid security in the form of a certified check, or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid is required and shall accompany each bid. Disposition of the bid security shall be
as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond, conforming to A.I.A form A311 or its equivalent in the amount
of 100% of the contract; which cost shall be included in the bid.
Bids shall be submitted in duplicate on the forms provided, with no alterations. Bids shall remain firm for 60 days from the date of bid opening.
